“On the level of diplomatic policy, Kadima believes in the same principles presented by the prime minister, which constitute the basis for a diplomatic program that the previous government under [prime minister Ehud] Olmert and foreign minister Tzipi Livni tried to advance,” he added. “It would be appropriate if during the prime minister’s meeting with President Obama, everyone knew that the prime minister has no opposition when it comes to realizing his diplomatic initiative. MK Ahmed Tibi (United Arab List-Ta’al) criticized the speech, saying Obama offered “nothing new” in regards to the Israeli-Palestinian peace process.
Tibi told Channel 2 news the speech was intended more for Arab audiences who have been participating in pro-democracy protests in the past several months “Obama is riding the tiger of Arab democracy,” he said.
Referring to the US president’s speech in Cairo in June 2009, Tibi concluded by nicknaming Thursday’s address: “Cairo Speech II.”

MKs on the Right expressed outrage on Thursday night at US President Barack Obama’s call for the creation of a Palestinian state based on the 1967 lines with mutually agreed swaps, in an exchange of territory for security.
They called upon Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu to reject Obama’s plan when he meets with him on Friday in Washington.

“Barack Hussein Obama adopted Yasser Arafat’s staged plan for Israel’s destruction, and he is trying to force it on our prime minister,” Likud MK Danny Danon said. “All that was new in the speech was that he called for Israel to return to 1967 borders without solving the crisis. Netanyahu has only one option: Tell Obama to forget about it.”
Environment Minister Gilad Erdan, also from the Likud, who as a minister close to Netanyahu must be more diplomatic, said on Channel 2 that according to Obama’s approach, the Palestinians would receive what they were demanding on borders before negotiations begin.
“Once they have everything from the start, they have no reason to make any concessions,” Erdan said.
But opposition leader Tzipi Livni said Obama’s plan was clearly in Israel’s interests, while the diplomatic stalemate that she believes was brought on by Netanyahu is not.
“On his visit, Netanyahu must display the leadership necessary now to create the conditions necessary to restart negotiations with those who are ready to end the conflict,” Livni said. “Only a real Israeli initiative with content that can receive American and international support can be an answer to the current dangers and opportunities.”
Her Kadima colleague, MK Yoel Hasson, warned that if Netanyahu did not take immediate action, he would bring Israel into deeper international isolation and have borders forced on the country unilaterally.
Kadima’s MK Otniel Schneller turned the focus back on his own party, however, calling on the opposition’s leadership to take a strong stand behind the prime minister on issues of foreign policy in light of Obama’s speech.
“Obama’s speech has placed before Israeli society and its representatives the challenge of unity and national agreement. The political disagreements and the motivation of the opposition parties should not overpower their responsibility for the future of the state,” Schneller said.

There are some very creepy coincidences about the election of Barack Obama as President of the United States of America.

The shame, betrayal and void of leadership continues with Obama endorsing the Palestinian state with borders brought back to 1967. President Obama said in his recent Middle East and North African speech that we have to think differently regarding our dealings with the Muslims, thus Obama standing solidly for the Palestinian’s demands to have the 1967 borders observed.
Fatah and Hamas, two radical Muslim terrorist organizations have now merged, turning the constant shotgun of threats against Israel into a pointed double barrel shotgun aimed at their heads. Obama and the UN might as well be loading the shells.
So, what is the big deal about 1967 and why does Israel have to give the land back before that war? It is most clear and plain to see. Israel saw aggressive changes in behavior, by Egypt and Syria signaling that war was immanent. First they saw on May 16, 1967, Nasser removed the international buffer that had exsisted between Israel and Egypt since 1957, the UNEF – United Nations Emergency Forces. Then Egypt blockaded all goods coming into Israel through the Tiran Straits. Syria joined the party by creating all kinds of clashes at the border along the Golan Heights. They put their troops on ready as well.
President Johnson at the time played the political game hoping Israel would not attack and waterways and shipping could be re opened through diplomatic means. Egypt and Syria were obviously organizing and positioning for attack, pulling troops out, and stopping goods from being shipped. What was Israel supposed to do ask them if they wanted to have a Bible Study?
It was against this obvious set up for war against Israel that Israel attacked. They captured the Sinai Peninsula, Gaza Strip, West Bank and Golan Heights from Syria. Everything was finished in less then a month. Nassar called for the total destruction of Israel, spewing ‘slaughter Israel’ rhetoric everywhere in the Middle East and media.
To the Islamic world who had attacked Israel many times before 1967, this war was just another bold shame against Islam that must be avenged. After all, Israel had stolen Islamic land. Since this war, which Israel had really no choice but to start and finish, Israel has received non stop attacks from all kinds of Islamic groups surrounding them.
Now you know as the great Paul Harvey would have said, ‘The rest of the story.’
What other wars should be undone because group A doesn’t like the land group B got during a conflict? Is Texas and Southern California going back to Mexico even though we paid for it and won the war? For that matter, it was most rude and treasonous to the British to make this country the US and separate from British rule. Shall we be British subjects again?
It is beyond dangerous, shameful and almost unforgivable that America would stand with Palestine, Hamas and Fatah against our best alley in the Middle East who simply wants to live in peace. It is already wrong that Israel has allowed any territories or land to be manipulated back into the hands of the Palestinians and Hamas.
Now the UN vote is coming in just a few months to vote Palestine in as a state, that Obama formally backs. Israel must stand her ground and not give away so much as a simple glass of water or, not even to President Obama or any other pressure group.
This choice by Obama to back Palestine and the UN push against Israel is stupid, evil, Un American, traitorous, disloyal, two faced, cowardly and WRONG.
It is time to run Obama out of the White House in 2012. Maybe I will be the one to do it.

For Example, in Jewish tradition, Tisha B’av (9th day of the Hebrew Month Av) is the anniversary of the day the spies that Moshe sent to Cannan came back and delivered their bad report. Because they listened to the spies and did not trust God, the Jewish People were not only sentenced to wander in the desert for 40 years, but until the coming of the Moshiach (messiah), the 9th of Av was to be a day of mourning, where bad things would happen to the people. On that day, for example, both Temples were destroyed, over five hundred years apart. It was that day in 1492 that Spain, at the time one of the most vibrant Jewish Communities of the world, had to either leave the country, convert or Die. There were dozens of other things that happened that day, here is one more:
On July 27th, 2004 candidate for US Senator from the state of Illinois, Barack Obama delivered a Keynote address to the delegates of the Democratic National Convention in Boston. His speech called “the Audacity of Hope” was hailed as a classic and the candidate was anointed as the future of the Democratic Party. At the same time, observant Jews all across the world were finishing up one of only two major fast days on the Jewish calender. You see, July 27th, 2004 was the 9th day of the Hebrew month of Av, also known as Tisha B’av.
This summer Obama went to in Berlin, a city that wears the history of the Holocaust on its shoulders. It was in Berlin where Hitler gave the orders for his horrible plans. He gave a major speech and rock concert from the Victory Column. On February 19, 1938 The NY Times reported on how the “Victory Column” was used as the backdrop for a major Hitler speech seen as the prelude for the takeover of Austria:
This past Saturday, the one immediately before the inauguration of Barack Obama , Jews all across the world read the first Chapters of the book of Exodus. That is the section contains these ominous words, ‘there arose a new king over Egypt, who knew not Joseph” That verse signaled a changing relationship between Egypt, the most powerful nation on earth and the Jewish nation. …
Tuesday the United States of America, the most powerful nation in the world, will have a new leader. The inauguration will signal a changing relationship between the US and the Jewish Nation.
At best the Barack Obama administration will not be as favorable to Israel as the past two administrations. More likely, based on his past record and the people connected to his administration, he will be the most anti-Israel President since Jim Baker told George HW Bush, “F**K the Jews, They won’t vote for us anyway.”
The President-elect signaled his intentions about Israel when spoke about Richard Lugar the most anti-Israel Senator in congress as his foreign policy teacher, and included in his transition team Samantha Power who called for an invasion of Israel to enforce a cease-fire, and Robert Malley a second-generation terrorist supporter.
Hillary Clinton, the first person EVER in any administration to call for a Palestinian State, gave us a preview of Obama’s foreign policy during her confirmations hearings, “appeasement of terror”.
“The president-elect and I understand and are deeply sympathetic to Israel’s desire to defend itself under the current conditions, and to be free of shelling by Hamas rockets,” Clinton said.
“However, we have also been reminded of the tragic humanitarian costs of conflict in the Middle East and pained by the suffering of Palestinian and Israeli civilians.”
First Clinton missed the opportunity to hold Hamas responsible for war crimes leading to civilian deaths in hostilities with Israel. Then she went on to repeat the Bush administration’s opposition to negotiations with it, unless it recognizes Israel, renounces violence and abides by past peace deals saying, “That is just for me an absolute.” (Lachlan Carmichael, ‘Obama team takes new tack on Iran amid Mid east peace push,’ Yahoo News, January 13, 2009).
Clinton’s benchmarks should only a starting point. She is saying that if Hamas, without dismantling its terror squads or its apparatus of indoctrinating children into hatred and murder of Jews, simply said the right words about recognizing Israel, renouncing terror and recognizing the past Oslo agreements, then she would forthwith deal with this terrorist organization that possesses a genocidal Charter.
Formal recognition, statements about renouncing terror or accepting signed agreements are inadequate. What is needed is actual recognition – and thus the ending of propaganda, and indoctrination that demonizes Israel; verifiable action to arrest and jail terrorists and decommission illegal weaponry; and fulfillment of agreements, not mere ‘acceptance’ of agreements. Only if Hamas were to do these things would there be scope for diplomatic engagement with it.
Folks, when President-elect Obama brings his “change” to our Mid East policy, it will more of a “return” than a change. A return to the days of George HW Bush, and Jimmy Carter, and a return to almost 4,000 years ago and that Pharaoh “who knew not Joseph” when the most powerful nation on earth did its best to force Israel to accept policies that were that would put them in great harm.
